Members from the Joint European Disruptive Initiative enjoy access to JEDI’s Thought Leadership activities, which provide unique insights on critical strategic technologies -current and emerging - and their related political and strategic issues in JEDI’s five fields of activity.
JEDI bi-monthly magazine provides insights on the latest developments related to strategic technologies and updates on JEDI activities.
JEDI DISRUPTION LIVE
JEDI Disruption Live are 20-minutes live conversations broadcasted on YouTube and LinkedIn between JEDI and a Technology Leader on the future of a sector or technology.
2-3 page briefings focusing on a strategic technology. It provides a state-of-the art of the technology, the bottlenecks it faces at the technical level, and the most promising innovation pathways being investigated to overcome them.
JEDI Pulse include a 1-2 page notes focusing on a policymaking issues related to the European strategic autonomy in the realm of strategic technologies.
JEDI TechBriefings are presentations made by JEDI to provide an overview of the key takeaways and conclusions of one of its 10-15 page reports on a key strategic technology.
ACCESS TO JEDI NETWORK & JEDI TALKS
When becoming a JEDI member, you become part of a community. Your membership will provide you with access to more than 4100 deeptech leaders all over Europe, organized around JEDI local hubs in Brussels, Berlin, Paris, London, Tallinn, Madrid, Rome and Warsaw.
JEDI Talks are breakfasts or dinners organized by JEDI around a technology or a policy leader with a limited number of VIP participants.
ATTEND IDEATIONAL EVENTS
JEDI Ideation Events bring together visionary technology influencers to craft the future of technology through VIP workshops, keynotes, future-thinking sessions, and prototyping. JEDI members will have access to a seat in the audience of this emulation of ideas in artificial intelligence, healthcare, oceans, cybersecurity, molecular biology, energy storage, space, quantum computing, etc.
OPTION 2: CO-DESIGN & BE INVOLVED
On top of JEDI Network and Thought Leadership activities, JEDI members willing to engage more deeply with the initiatives also have the possibility to actively contribute to the direction and definition of the GrandChallenges launched. They can do so in two ways:
PANELIST TO IDEATION EVENTS
In addition to seats for Ideational Events in the audience, actively engaged JEDI members will have the opportunity to participate (when working in the relevant sector) as panelists at JEDI Moonshot Days and StrategicTech events.
SEAT IN ONE OR SEVERAL JEDI GOVERNANCE ORGANS
Major JEDI members willing to engage more deeply with the initiative have the opportunity to influence its strategic direction through their participation in one or several JEDI governance organs.
JEDI ADVISORY BOARD

Members of JEDI Advisory Board provide recommendations on JEDI strategic priorities. Specifically, they provide advice determining for the direction of JEDI’s Thought Leadership activities and Ideation events. However, their opinion is also solicited for the definition of joint initiatives that JEDI could launch with its strategic funders. The Advisory Board is comprised of JEDI Funders, of JEDI institutional members and of high-level JEDI community members.
JEDI FOUNDATION BOARD

Members of JEDI Foundation Board exert a major influence on the definition of JEDI strategic priorities with regards to the organization of the GrandChallenge. It is composed of a maximum of 15 representatives from JEDI major funders.
- monthly meeting -
The JEDI Executive board is responsible for the strategic guidance and oversight of every activity conducted by JEDI, i.e. it is playing a significant role in the definition of JEDI strategic priorities for its Thought Leadership activities, Ideation events as well as on the GrandChallenges that are launched by the organization. It is composed of 15 members – 30 in its extended form.
BE SPEAKER TO JEDI TALKS
In addition to having seats in the audience, JEDI members who are deeply engaged with the initiative will enjoy the opportunity (when working in the relevant sector) to intervene as key speakers at JEDI Talks.
